Nine months. So hard to believe. They have been the hardest and the best nine months of my life.
I am so thankful for God’s grace. I haven’t missed a single day of them. I have watched him grow and change and learn and morph into a little boy right before my eyes.
He’s still so much a baby boy…who is quickly becoming a little boy. His personality is starting to come out more and more. Case in point: when he throws his head back and laughs. Just because. Or his little excited/ornery/mischievous face where he sticks out his tongue.
At his nine month appointment the doctor asked me if he was generally a happy baby. I smiled. Yes. A very happy baby.
This sweet, old-fashioned toy belonged to Isaac’s Uncle Josh. I found it in a box and brought it out and Isaac fell in love.
He falls in love a lot these days…just not generally with toys. He ‘s fallen in love with his daddy and bath time and making funny faces/noises. Also, looking out the window and playing with the dogs at MiMi & Grandpa’s and drinking juice from a straw.
He is the sweetest and the best and brings joy to us all.
